- It takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes to walk from the ticket office to the castle, around 1.5 kilometers on a steep uphill road Please note : The Premium Tour will be propose in English only. In Winter, the opening of the Marienbrücke bridge depends on weather conditions and the castle administration. In winter only , we first visit Linderhof, then Neuschwanstein in the afternoon. Oberammergau may not be accessible depending on the weather during the period from December to March.
