Start in the very heart of Munich, at Marienplatz (St. Mary's Square) with its beautiful New City Hall and view to Frauenkirche (Cathedral of Our Dear Lady). Marvel at St. Peter's, the first and eldest church of Munich. Go inside to admire its precious interior. Head to Viktualienmarkt, Germany's biggest food and grocery market with many Bavarian delicacies, to get a feeling for Bavarian food and where you meet some of the vendors.
