Feringasee

Located in the northern part of Munich, in Unterfoehring, you can find one of the most popular swimming lakes around Munich - Feringasee.

The lake sizes a surface of about 62 ha and offers 3 kilometers of fully developed shore, inviting Munich´s city residents to spend a relaxing day.
Besides two huge volleyball courts, the Feringasee also provides a large area for nudists.

A small restaurant and a nice beergarden also invite those, who do not want to sunbath and lie on the gras, for a nice and cool beer, some "Steckerlfisch"or an icecream.

Feringasee can be reached by bike. Just follow the paths that run north along the Isar river. Maps and signs can be found along the way.

A big parking area with a capacity of over 2000 cars is provided.

Please keep in mind, that BBQ-ing is only permitted in areas around the lake that are marked with a sign, letting you know, that this is a specific "BBQ-Zone".
By disregaring the signs and noncompliance, you will get fined.
