The Schyrenbad is Munich’s oldest outdoor swimming pool and opened in 1847. It is located in the center. Formerly only men met there, but now has become a meeting point for young people, singles and families. There is a 50 meter swimming pool for athletics as well as for nonswimmers and another pool with 24 °C temperature.
Guests can purchase refreshments in the original Bavarian beer garden. There is a big sunbathing area with big trees which provide shade. The whole facilities are accessible for handicapped people.
Every Thursday beginning from 6th of May there are Qi Gong lessons from 9.15 – 10.00 hrs, good weather preconditioned.
For one day 3,50 € will be charged. For 2,50 € a day guests can rent a sun bed.
