The ‘Spatenhaus an der Oper’ is situated opposite the Bavarian Opera House and represents Bavarian hospitality in its finest form.
Lovers of the “straight forward kitchen” will be served delicious Bavarian roasts on the first floor. It should be mentioned that the Spatenhaus cooks with recipes from old Bavarian cook books, which brings back childhood memories for many guests.
A fine stuffed breast of veal, meatballs made of succulent beef, served with homemade potato salad or a slowly baked cabbage roll are just some examples of the specialties of Johann Fusseder’s kitchen.
On the second floor you will find four separate rooms, all of them with an amazing view of the opera house. The furniture of the rooms is in harmony with the high-class cuisine and you can feel the love for details paying homage to the cultural neighborhood.
The chef offers a variety of menus. You can choose from a wide selection of seafood as well as classical Bavarian and Austrian dishes. A first class combination for every taste!
