Description
Hello, everyone!
On this bike tour, we'll ride together through the life of Munich as it really is: not sanitized, not touristy, but honest, green, and sometimes a bit rough. We also dispel the cliché that Munich is snobbish.
This is not a road bike tour and there is no rigid sightseeing plan. We ride in a relaxed manner, take breaks, and chat about the city, its neighborhoods, and its contrasts – and about why Munich is so much more than lederhosen and the Hofbräuhaus.
We start where Munich comes together, ride past well-known spots like the Eisbachwelle, and immerse ourselves in the vastness of the English Garden. We'll take time for the most beautiful parks in the city. Then we continue through neighborhoods that you won't find on every postcard, from the Schlachthofviertel down to the Isar.
Along the way, I'll show you my Munich: places where you can live, breathe deeply, cycle, swim, and chat. We ride from the English Garden through the Olympic Park, along the Nymphenburger Canal to Nymphenburg Palace. Past Theresienwiese and further along the Isar meadows, on old paths and with new perspectives. Those who want can bring swimwear for a little dip in the Isar!
In the end, you will not only come back with a few beautiful photos, but with the feeling that you have really gotten to know Munich. The tour can also be conducted in English or Denglish by arrangement or request :-) If there is no suitable date available or if you have any add-on requests, please contact me at www.tailormade-tours.com

The route is about 30 kilometers long and is ridden in a relaxed manner, but a normal basic level of fitness is still required. We will not only be riding in parks, but also in Munich's city traffic, so safe cycling is a prerequisite. A helmet is recommended but not obligatory. Please bring your own drinks and small snacks. Participation is at your own risk, and German traffic rules apply. Due to the length, duration, and route, the tour is not suitable for children under 14 years of age. You are welcome to bring swimwear if you like, as we will make a stop at the Isar.
