Description
Excitement is the order of the day when you paddle your canoe on the Isar through one of the last wild river landscapes in Europe. Gentle, quiet passages alternate with lively sections that demand your full attention. We are waiting for you at the MONTEVIA base in Lenggries. Here you will be equipped with a wetsuit, life jacket and helmet. The Isar runs directly opposite our location. There you will receive a safety briefing and will be familiarized with the technique and tactics of canoeing.
Then you go onto the river and paddle an 11 km long stretch of river back to Bad Tölz on calm water with some splashy waves. Things get really exciting at the Isarburg, a passage with white water level 3, which is voluntary to navigate, but which can also be ridden several times.
