Description
The 90-minute tour starts at Wolf Dietrich Straße 3 and passes through Linzer Gasse to the Salzach River. You cross Staatsbrücke bridge along the river to Mozartplatz and visit key squares in the Old Town including Alter Markt, University Square, Hofstallgasse with the Festival Houses, and Cathedral Square.
From there, the tour climbs Mönchsberg via Festungsgasse, passes Hohensalzburg Fortress, and continues through greenery to Richterhöhe, offering panoramic views. The route then heads to the Museum der Moderne for views over Salzburg’s rooftops before descending through medieval alleyways back to the Salzach River and finishing at Mirabell Gardens.
The two-hour tour covers all stops from the 90-minute itinerary plus additional highlights. These include Kaigasse, Kajetanerplatz, the elegant Nonntal district, and a ride over historic Krauthügel hill along Salzburg’s oldest water supply, the Almkanal, to Leopoldskroner Weiher pond for a photo stop. The tour continues to Nonnberg Abbey and then follows the Mönchsberg route as in the shorter tour.
Both tours end at Wolf Dietrich Straße 3.

- Participants must be physically and legally able to operate a Segway; those with health restrictions like balance issues are not permitted for safety reasons
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Ages 12–18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; alone only with written parental consent
- Parents or grandparents are liable for children or grandchildren on the tour
- Minimum age unaccompanied by an adult: 18 years
- Pregnant women are strongly advised not to participate
- No participation under influence of alcohol or impaired consciousness; participants obviously under influence will be excluded without refund
- Recommended body weight between approximately 40 kg and 120+ kg
- Flat, closed shoes are recommended
