Description

In this workshop, you’ll get to know the punch needle technique and create your own textile artwork. Punch-needling is a modern embroidery technique where yarn or wool is pushed through a tightly woven fabric (e.g., monk’s cloth) using a special hollow needle. This creates textured patterns and designs with a unique structure. We’ll start with a practice session on monk’s cloth in an embroidery hoop so you can try the technique in a calm, relaxed way. Afterwards, you’ll choose your own design: either on a neutral-colored cushion cover or on a piece of monk’s cloth. A large selection of yarns and wool will be available. You can use our templates for inspiration or create your own design — we’ll support you with choosing and implementing it. At the end, your piece will be fixed with textile glue, which needs to dry overnight. For safe transport, you’ll receive a box so you can take your project home right away. Perfect for individuals, groups of friends, or as a team event.
