Join a guided walk to discover two of Munich's most famous gardens. This experience combines history, nature, architecture and local life in the heart of the Bavarian capital, offering an authentic perspective on the city and its traditions.
The tour begins in the elegant Hofgarten, the historic garden of the Royal Residence. As you stroll along its avenues, you'll retrace the history of the Wittelsbach dynasty and the evolution of Munich over the centuries. You will admire the evocative Temple of Diana and discover how the Bavarian monarchy helped shape the city's cultural identity.
You will then continue to the Englischer Garten, one of the largest urban parks in the world and even bigger than New York's famous Central Park. Here you will discover how this extraordinary green space has become one of the symbols of Munich and a landmark for the daily life of its inhabitants.
Along the route, you will admire the famous Eisbachwelle, where surfers from all over the world challenge the current in the heart of the city. You will cross picturesque bridges, nature trails, and some of the most beautiful corners of the park, reaching the Monopteros, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Munich. On a clear day, you can even see the Bavarian Alps on the horizon.
During the walk, you will reach some of the best photography locations in the Englischer Garten, perfect for capturing unique views of the city, its monuments, and the natural landscapes that make this park so special.
The tour ends at the famous Chinese Tower, a historic meeting place and one of the most beloved symbols of Munich. From here, you can continue your visit on your own or relax in the famous beer garden that surrounds it.
