Directions to Feldmochinger See
Feldmochinger See is Munich´s largest swimming lake and lies in the northwest of the city. The lake is covering a surface of 165,5 square meters and maintains a high water quality.
Not only swimming or sunbathing is possible at the lake, but a volleyball court, table tennis and kids´ sandboxes are also provided to spend a nice day just out of Munich´s city limits. An area for nudists can also be found.
2 small kiosks offer refreshments, snacks and icecream. Well kept showers and plenty of parking are also available.
If you are planning on visiting the lake by bike, take Dachauerstraße to Moosach and then continue from there towards Feldmoching. Follow the signs to Feldmochinger See and you will not get lost.
Please keep in mind, that BBQ-ing is only permitted in areas around the lake that are marked with a sign, letting you know, that this is a specific 'BBQ-Zone'.
By disregaring the signs and noncompliance, you will get fined.
