Description
You can choose between two tours: a 45-minute tour without beer tasting and a 90-minute tour including beer tasting. Both options appear separately when purchasing tickets. The shorter tour window opens first, followed by the longer one.
Both tours feature a guided walk through the brewery combined with virtual reality glasses, providing a detailed perspective on brewing.
The 90-minute tour includes an additional TimeRide experience where you taste various Andechs beers featured in the VR tour. Non-alcoholic drinks are available for children aged 6 and above and for all visitors under 18 years old.
Andechs Monastery has a long brewing tradition and now pairs it authentically with modern VR technology.
Getting There
Andechs Monastery is about an hour from Munich by public transport: take the S8 from Munich main station to Hechendorf, then bus 928 towards Kloster Andechs. By car, the drive takes approximately 50 minutes. This makes the tour easy to combine with a day trip from Munich.

- Food and drinks are available on site at the Braustüberl (open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.) but are not included in the ticket price
- Visitors can also visit the pilgrimage church and explore the Holy Mountain by foot
