Luitpoldpark

In the western part of Munich`s famous district Schwabing, the Luitpoldpark is situated close to Olympiapark. Although it is one of the smaller parks in the city, the Luitpoldpark is very much loved by Munich´s residents.

In the hot summer months, you can find plenty of shady spots under many huge lime- and chestnut trees with numerous benches for a little rest under it.

The park is often used for every kind of activity. Therefore you can find sunbathers, walkers, runners, people taking their dogs for a walk, families and many other people spending their free time at the park. Two well equipped children playgrounds invite the little ones to enjoy and play here.

In the middle of the park you can also find the restaurant 'Bamberger Haus', in an almost 100 year old baroque building providing also a nice little beergarden outside.
