The tour begins at Munich main train station for a meet and greet with your friendly, local guide. From there the group heads into the heart of Munich via public transport. Along the way, stop at a selection of the city’s most iconic landmarks including the Gasteig, which is Germany’s largest cultural center. Other highlights along the tour are Isartorplatz, which is one of 4 main gates of the medieval city wall, Hofbrauhaus, a traditional Bavarian style tavern, and the Residenz which was once the city’s royal palace. As you explore the city and learn about its rich history, your guide will also point out notable buildings to admire the Bavarian architecture. The tour also includes lunch at either Der Pschorr or Schneider Weiss before wandering through the Marienplatz to see the Glockenspiel, New Rathaus, and St.Michaels church. After the tour of the city, visit the Viktrualiamarkt and enjoy a refreshing beer at a traditional beer market nestled in the center of this bustling location.Includes
