Description
The tour departs Munich and passes through Ramsau before reaching Hintersee Lake, one of the three lakes near Königssee and adjacent to the Zauberwald. Guests can disembark for a 15-minute hike to explore Berchtesgaden National Park.
After lunch, the group arrives at Königssee to optionally join a lake cruise, featuring a stop at the small peninsula with St. Bartholomew's Church, identifiable by its red domes against the mountain backdrop.
In winter, if the boat cruise is unavailable, guests receive a refund for the cruise ticket and may choose to take the Jennerbahn cable car (at personal expense) to Jenner peak at 1,874 meters. This offers panoramic views of Königssee and the Berchtesgaden area.
The tour returns to Munich in the evening, with reference arrival times around 18:00 (April–October) or 18:30 (November–March).
The itinerary order may vary depending on conditions. Vehicle sizes are assigned based on group size:
- 1–8 participants: 7–9 seat vehicle with driver-guide
- 9–16 participants: 15–19 seat medium coach
- 17 or more participants: 30–48 seat large coach

- Group details including guide information and boarding points are provided one day before departure.
- In winter, if the cruise is cancelled, the cruise fee is refunded (€22.80 adult, €11.40 child aged 6–17, free for children under 6). The Jennerbahn cable car is available at personal expense.
- Driver working hours are limited to 10 hours daily; overtime is charged at €50/hour divided among participants and drivers cannot exceed 12 hours according to regulations.
