Description
The tour begins with a 30-minute walk through Nymphenburg Palace Park, covering its 700 hectares and blending architecture with garden design as a significant European Gesamtkunstwerk.
Next, you visit Olympic Park, the 1972 Olympic site and one of Munich’s largest parks hosting concerts and exhibitions. Adjacent is BMW World, an exhibition center displaying vehicles from BMW, Mini, and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. You can either explore Olympic Park independently during a break or join your guide for the full experience.
The final stop is Wiener Platz, the historic marketplace in Haidhausen since 1889, hosting one of Munich’s four permanent markets. Here you find the Hofbräukeller, one of the largest beer gardens, along with shops, boutiques, and a central Maypole donated by locals. You can enjoy a Bavarian break before exploring the French Quarter’s cafes and boutiques.
If preferred, you may remain on the bus at Wiener Platz and return with the guide to Karlplatz Stachus without visiting Haidhausen.
