Ready for the ultimate hiking experience in Bavaria? Join us on an unforgettable 2-day hike to the Zugspitze (2962m), Germany's highest mountain, with everything organized for you. Join a small group (max. 6 people) leave the logistics to us. All you need to bring is your hiking gear and a sense of adventure. We’ll pick you up directly from your hotel in Munich, and everything is taken care of: comfy air-conditioned minivan transfers, a professional English-speaking hiking guide, traditional overnight accommodation in the mountains, and seamless organization from start to finish. After conquering the summit, enjoy a scenic cable car ride back down. Let us handle the details while you enjoy the journey! Day 1: Pick-up 6 am We pick you up from your hotel in Munich, either by cab or minivan, and transport you comfortably to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Meet your english-speaking expert guide and fellow hikers (small group, max. 6 people) as we start the journey. The hike begins gently, with no major incline, leading us through the awe-inspiring Partnachklamm Gorge. The powerful Partnach river rushes through the 700-meter-long gorge – a stunning natural spectacle! The path then winds through a peaceful landscape, with a gentle uphill climb. After about 2 - 3 hours of scenic hiking, we reach the restaurant & hut Reintalangerhütte, where we’ll enjoy a hearty Bavarian lunch by the stream (not included in the price). Refreshed and energized, we continue the second part of the today’s hike, where the terrain gets a bit more challenging. The gravel path turns into scree path, and after another 2-3 hours of hiking, we reach the Knorrhütte – our cozy overnight accommodation. You’ll spend the night in a comfortable dormitory (6-12 people per room) with shared bathroom. A thin sleeping bag is mandatory from the hut. (If you don’t have one, you can rent one for € 10) Day 2: Breakfast at 8 am After a hearty breakfast at the buffet (not included in the price), we set off for the final stretch! The first hour is a moderate path, offering breathtaking views of the Zugspitze massif. Next, we tackle the most challenging part of the hike: a scree field that requires steady footing and caution. But fear not – it’s a short challenge, and soon we’re hiking along a secure ridge with a wire rope, the views of the valley and the famous Eibsee Lake getting more stunning by the minute. After about 3 hours, we reach the top of the Zugspitze just in time for lunch (not included in the price) – and it’s time to relax and enjoy the panoramic views with a cold beer and delicious Bavarian lunch. Finally, we take the cable car down to the valley, soaking in the views of the Zugspitze massif one last time. Your minivan is waiting to bring you back to Munich, with an estimated arrival around 5 PM.

• Please note: - An average fitness level & some hiking experience is required - You must bring your own water & drinks for the first day (1 drink per meal is included), water bottles can be filled up from the tab of the over-night accommodation for day 2 - Vegetarian or vegan food is available on request; please specify in the comments field when booking - Hiking boots are a must; no sneakers or sneakers - Bring rainproof clothing (rain jacket & rain trousers) and a change of clothes - Hiking poles can be hired on-site for a fee if needed (10 euro fee) - A thin sleeping bag is required by the hut.
