Description
The tour starts in Innsbruck’s historic center, between the Congress Center and the Hofgarten, at 10:00 a.m. The hike follows the Inn River to the Hans-Psenner-Steg footbridge, crossing the river to ascend towards the Alpine Zoo. From there, the route leads to the Mühlau district, entering a gorge lined with waterfalls and unique rock formations. After leaving the gorge, the trail widens and continues to the Arzler Alm, the hike’s highest point. Following a break, the descent leads through forests above Hungerburg, with easy access back to the city center by train or bus.
