Description
Begin with a morning pickup from your Salzburg accommodation in an air-conditioned private vehicle. Your driver will take you to Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol in the Wipp Valley. A licensed 5-star guide will lead a walking tour of Innsbruck’s Old Town, visiting key landmarks including the Baroque Cathedral of St. Jacob, home to one of the most venerated Marian images by Lucas Cranach the Elder, and Hofkirche, featuring Emperor Maximilian’s cenotaph and the tomb of national hero Andreas Hofer.
You will also see the Hofburg Palace, Golden Roof, St. Anne’s Column, and the Triumphal Arch. After the walking tour, visit the Bergisel Ski Jump Observation Deck, where the elevator takes you to the viewing terrace with panoramic city and Alpine views. Lunch and souvenir shopping are available at the Bergisel Sky restaurant before returning to Salzburg.
