Haxnbauer

Haxnbauer at the Scholastikahaus is a residential restaurant very close to the Marienplatz . The building is from the 14th century and a lot of effort has been made to rebuilt and renovate it to its original form. This might be one of the reasons why the ‘Haxnbauer’ has become such a popular meeting place for Munich residents as well as guests from all over the world.

The restaurant is famous for its great beech charcoal grill on which finely marinated knuckles of pork and veal are slowly turned into delicious crusty Bavarian dishes. Besides the good selection of classical Bavarian kitchen you will find light international dishes on the menu.
