North-west of Munich´s center, close to the suburbs Obermenzing and Untermenzing, the Langwieder See, another swimming lake, is located.
The lake offers a shore of about 2,2 kilometers and meassures a depth of 8 meters. The water is of high quality which is one of the reasons, that on a sunny summer weekend, some 30.000 people come here to swim and relax.
For watersport interessted visitors, rowboats can be rented. The use of motorboats is prohibited, a fact that makes Langwieder See a quiet and relaxing spot for sunbathers and swimming fans.
