A visit to the “Deutsches Museum” should definitely not be missed when visiting Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
The “Deutsches Museum” is counting to the largest and most popular museums of technology and science in the world. It has been founded in 1903 by Oskar von Miller with 55,000 sqm of exhibition space.
A wide range of different exhibitions in the areas of technology and natural sciences are shown here.
Since 2003, Kids Kingdom has been a part of the Deutsches Museum – an area of their own for the 3 – 8-year-olds, a world of knowledge for the youngest researchers.
Guided tours and demonstrations are a regular feature: special exhibitions, talks and events are part of the varied program.
The Deutsches Museum is open daily from 09.00 – 17.00,
closed on 1 January, Shrove Tuesday, Good Friday, 1 May, 1 November, 24, 25 and 31 December.
