The BMW Welt was opened on 17th Ocotber 2007 in the north of Munich.
The BMW Welt which includes the BMW Plant and the BMW Museum has become one of the most popular highlights for locals and tourist from all over the world as it is a multi-functional customer experience and exhibition facility. It now counts to the most popular attractions in Munich with around two million visitors per year.
The unique and futuristic architecture of the building is an important asset to the company, the brand and its products. Here the latest trends, technical highlights and design features as well as the latest vehicle model series and motorcycles are exhibited and offer an insight into BMW research, development and production. It is recommended to take a guided tour of the Plant after visiting the museum in order to experience the BMW brand from virtually every perspective.
Since it is the ideal location for exhibitions, conferences, live concerts or business events, today a wide range of catering and dining services are available here. The BMW Welt features a restaurant, a bistro and a coffee shop, as well as a few shops.
For the young visitors (from 7 – 13 years) a special area, named Junior Campus has been built. Mobility with all their senses can be experienced here in an active and funny way.
