Join your guide on a fabulous walk along the so called 'lifeline' of Munich, the Isar River. You will enter a world full of myths and mysteries, whilst simultaneously surrounded by rich nature. The Isar River is not only a popular recreational area for urbanites, but is also a river full of secrets. These secrets reveal themselves when the sun dips towards the horizon and the night spreads its shadow over the Isarauen. It then begins to whisper and crackle in the pastures, rustling and whispering between the reeds and the pebble beach. Perhaps it is the lamenting cry of a lost soul that once found death at the bottom of the raging river and is now in search of salvation, perhaps she is a victim of the sinister Isarnixe, who with her intoxicating chant, already belonged to the raftsmen of earlier centuries into her wet grave lured. After wandering along the shore of the Isar, you will trael back to Thalkirchen. Again and again you will pause, listening to the eerie stories and learning interesting facts about past days in which the Isar still lived as a mythical river and brought death.
