Excursion from Munich to the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof The tour is offered with a new Mercedes-Benz van for a maximum of 6 people plus driver with absolute full equipment. In addition, one of our driver guides will accompany you throughout the day and show and explain everything in detail. From Munich, we reach Starnberg on Lake Starnberg via the highway. After a brief look at Lake Starnberg, we drive through one of Bavaria's most picturesque landscapes with centuries-old Bavarian farms via Weilheim, Peißenberg, Rottenbuch and Steingaden to the small village of Hohenschwangau. From here, we enjoy our first view of Hohenschwangau Castle and Neuschwanstein Castle. We use the waiting time until the guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view from the Marienbrücke bridge. After the guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle, we will have lunch - either in the castle restaurant at Neuschwanstein Castle or in the village of Hohenschwangau. After lunch, we drive via Reutte in Tyrol and past Plansee (Austria) to Linderhof Castle, where we are given a guided tour. We then continue to the picturesque Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play. Here you have the opportunity to take a stroll and go shopping on your own for about an hour. On the way back to Munich, we make a final stop at Ettal Abbey, which we visit from the outside.Includes
